ART. 1
Pescarabruzzo The Foundation announces the second edition of "Premio Internazionale NordSud Pescarabruzzo Foundation for Literature and Science" to encourage dialogue between North and South.
ART. The Award is part 2
reported by publishers, schools, organizations, universities, cultural associations, personal and other national and international organizations. The works and the works will be addressed to the Secretary's Award at the Foundation Pescarabruzzo, Corso Umberto No 83, 65122 Pescara. No copies are to be sent 9, accompanied by a letter participation with the author's data (personal data, address, telephone number and any e-mail) within the strict deadline of 23 September 2010 (the postmark will attest).
ART. 3
The Award is divided into four sections and can contribute: to the LETTERS works published in Italy last three years preceding the date of publication; for Science papers published in Italy or abroad in the last three years preceding the date of publication.
a) LETTERS: 1) poetry 2) FICTION
b) SCIENCE: 1) exact and natural sciences, 2) SOCIAL SCIENCES
to the winners of each section will receive a prize of € 4,000.00 (€ quattromila/00).
ART. 4
Participation in the contest implies the acceptance of these rules. The awards will be awarded Saturday, October 23, 2010 in Pescara.
ART. 5
The jury, chaired by the President of the Foundation Pescarabruzzo, Nicola Mattoscio, consists of: Stevka Smitran (Secretary), Franco Cardini, Francis Brown, Walter Mauro, Gian Gabriele Ori, Elio Pecora and Benito Sablone.
ART. 6
Winners must be present at the awards ceremony. The absence of the candidate will be construed as a waiver to the Award.
ART. 7
The Secretariat will inform the winner of the Jury at least ten days before the date set for the awards ceremony.
ART. 8
works and the works will not be returned. The jury is not required to disclose the titles of works and authors excluded from the ceremony.
ART. 9
For matters not covered by this announcement shall be final and binding decisions of the Jury.
